An ancient recipe is used to make Ultra vodka. The distilled spirits used in the preparation of this vodka undergo additional treatments to ensure practically all the traces elements present in lower quality vodkas are eliminated.

The spirit also undergoes a slow five-stage filtration through specially-modified charcoal made from the stones of peaches and apricots, a special technique of the Chernogolovka distillery.

Each authentic Russian bottle is manually painted with the traditional Russian Palekh lacquer technique and signed by the individual artist.

Chernogolovka Distillery Ost-Alco was founded in July 1995 on two basic principles, Quality and tradition and has been operating on these ever since. Located in picturesque surroundings near the town of Chernogolovka in the Moscow region, the distillery is the largest alcohol producer occupying 25,000 acres of land and employing more than 2,500 people.

The quality of vodka is dependent on two ingredients: spirit and water. Chernogolovka distillery uses only the finest wheat and rye grown in Russia to produce spirit of the very highest quality. The water used in the production is drawn from the distillery’s three artesian wells, one of 105 metres depth and two of 170 metres depth and its quality is monitored constantly by highly qualified specialists from the distillery’s laboratory.
