Cask Strength
Bottled at 57.1%vol, Port Askaig Cask Strength’s pale straw colour and distinct peaty nose with floral notes are complimented by a full bodied palate with characteristic earthy peat and distinctive coastal notes. The long, powerful smoky finish is considered typical of younger single Islay malt whisky from this part of Islay.
Aged 17 Years Old
Initial light fruity aromas give way to an elegant sweet honeyed nose that precedes a powerful peaty and wood smoked palate with salty coastal notes. The mellow, lingering finish is considered a key character of older single Islay malt whiskies from this part of Islay.
Aged 25 Years Old
The initial nose of exotic fruits evolves to unveil a honeyed, sweet mellow palate of subtle wood smoke, oak spice and vanilla. The elegant complexity and long mellow finish so typical of aged single Islay malt whisky is achieved through slow ageing over many years in oak casks.

A classic Islay nose of brine and driftwood, developing with faint soot, sweet cinnamon, milk chocolate and polished pine. The palate has deliciously clean malt, enhanced by grapefruit, tingling pepper, cocoa powder and cappuccino foam, before the smoke reappears at the sustained, dry finish.
