New to the range and packaged differently to the rest of the family a very unique white rum. Due to Venezuelan law rum cannot be bottled until it is two years old and in this case some of the rums are aged up to six years. It is then filtered five to six times removing all colour and creating a very refined smooth white rum. Perfect for mixing in Daiquiri's and Mojito's.
Rich and unexpectedly intense for a white rum. Immediate notes of brown sugar, golden syrup and raisin cake hit you in the nose. Much bigger and more expressive on the palate than one expects, deliciously chocolaty, mocha notes weave through a sophisticated rounded and balanced palate leaving a long sweet, zesty finish.

Aged for a maximum of 4 years Diplomatico Anejo is a blend of some pot still distillate added to predominantly column still rum.
With brown sugar, cocoa powder and raisins on the nose the palate develops exactly as the nose would suggest , with chocolate and sweet coffee notes balanced with an oaky spiciness.

Blended from rums between 2 and 8 years Reserva is a balance of pot and lighter column still rums some of the pot still rums being distilled from honey sugar.
Rich and full on the nose with hints of golden syrup, cinnamon and rich dark sugar. Chocolate velvetiness on the tongue with creamy oak spice and citrus notes balancing the syrupy sweetness. A sweet cocoa caress with shimmering spices.

An exquisite sipping rum that is made from almost all sugar cane honey. This fine rum is made with 80% heavy and 20% light rums and aged for up to twelve years. The end result is a truly exceptional rum with characteristic sweet and fruity flavours to an even higher level of concentration and flavour intensity than its family members.
A complex characterful nose showing fruit cake, rum ‘n' raisin ice cream, cocoa, cinnamon and clove developing into baked bananas and fudge sauce. The palate evokes rich chocolate sauce and sweet toffee fudge with tropical fruit flavours developing from the nose. Reminiscent of Terry's Dark Chocolate Orange sprinkled over vanilla ice cream. A deep vivid and extremely seductive finish.

The Vintage 2000 is a limited edition created by Master Blender Tito Cordero and is the result of a blending of carefully selected reserves laid down in the year 2000.
During this year a number of factors contributed to rare conditions for sugar cane growth. High daily temperature variations, high humidity and lower than average rainfall all contributed to one of the best sugar cane harvests ever seen.
In choosing the reserves to blend for this limited release Tito was careful to choose rums with a very distinct character. Aged for 12 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Spanish sherry wood, these rums were some of the finest in The Diplomatico cellars.
Tasting Vintage 2000 starts much like Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva with vanilla and chocolate caramel notes giving way to rich dried fruit characters. However it is the long intense, dry finish that really sets this apart from the rest of the range.
